De Kat Windmill: This iconic paint mill, dating back to 1781, is the last working paint mill in the world. As a miller's daughter, Esther can tell you everything about the windmills, sharing fascinating insights into their history, operation, and the vital role they played in Dutch life. Learn about the process of making pigments and the role of windmills in Dutch industry. If you wish, you can climb the windmill and enjoy stunning views from the external gallery.
Cheese Experience: Visit the stables and meet the family’s Jersey cows at Henri Willig's cheese farm. You'll taste a variety of Gouda and Edam cheeses, with over 30 different flavors to explore. A walk through Volendam, the most popular fishing village in Holland, offers a glimpse into its charm, with a picturesque harbor and authentic fishermen’s houses.
