Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel for departure to Edam.

Edam

We’ll take a stroll in the old centre of Edam and visit a cheese shop tohave a Gouda & Edam cheese tasting. You'll taste a varietyof Gouda and Edam cheeses, with over 30 different flavors to explore. Thisexperience is a must for cheese lovers. The best part? These cheeses arespecially crafted for travel, so you can take the authentic flavors of Hollandhome, no matter where you're going.

Photo stop at the Kathammer windmill

On our way to Volendam we will make a stop at the Kathammer windmill to make some beautiful pictures. The windmill drains the Katwoude-Hogendijk polder, both by wind and electrically, and is located near the southern edge of the village of Volendam.

Volendam

A walk through Volendam, which is known as the most popular fishing village in Holland. The charm of Volendam rests in its harbour and the authentic fishermen’s houses. The maze is the oldest part of Volendam. This is where we’ll see small fishermen’s houses and narrow streets. What’s unique about the maze is that the houses were built without any street pattern. We’ll take a small stroll in the maze and on the famous dike of Volendam.

Ferry to Marken

Hop on a ferry across the IJsselmeer to Marken, a quant village that was once an island in the Zuiderzee. Marken charms visitors with its traditional wooden houses and drawbridges.

Upon arrival on Marken

We’ll take a brief walk through this picturesque village, enjoying its unique atmosphere. Connected to the mainland by a dam since 1957, Marken offers a glimpse into the past.
